2017 SIR Annual Meeting

SIR 2017 is designed to meet the educational needs of practicing interventional radiologists, IRs in-training, diagnostic radiologists, and other physicians with a special interest in IR. The SIR 2017 DVL includes expert discussion on current treatments, needs and future trends of minimally invasive vein treatments, as well as lectures about the latest technologies for diagnosis, triage and intervention in massive and sub-massive pulmonary embolisms.

2017 Y-90: The Complete Course

This two and a half-day course, designed with lectures, panel discussions, case vignettes and hands-on workshops, will offer the most in-depth, comprehensive and challenging curriculum available for clinical teams interested in initiating, developing, or strengthening their practice in this exciting aspect of interventional oncology. Y-90: The Complete Course has been formatted to include case presentations through the course, combining the lectures and elements included in previous Authorized User (AU) and Advanced Y-90 courses. Case scenarios and vignettes will highlight more complex topics, such as challenging anatomy, therapy for specific primary and secondary hepatic malignancies—including radio-embolization in combination with other therapies, retreatment, post procedural care and follow up, and management of complications.

2016 Annual Scientific Meeting

The SIR Annual Meeting 2016 in Vancouver from April 2-7 is designed to meet the educational needs of practicing interventional radiologists, IRs in-training, diagnostic radiologists, and other physicians with a special interest in IR—and is the only venue offering IR education designed specifically for clinical associates. 2014 Annual Scientific Meeting

SIR's Annual Scientific Meeting is the world's most comprehensive interventional radiology meeting, being held in San Diego from March 22-27 2014. This year will feature more than 400 scientific presentations, 250 hours in educational programming and 5,000 attendees from across the globe. SIR 2014's theme, "Convergence", reinforces the multidimensional nature of interventional radiology in daily practice and as a global specialty.
